| ISO/TC 176 Chairman's Strategic Advisory Group (CSAG) |
| The scope of the CSAG is to: (a) advise the Chair on current and emerging strategies and associated key issues and trends; and (b) develop reports for the Chair on appropriate objectives and broad plans that will satisfy the adopted strategic intentions. At the discretion of the Technical Committee Chair, and in consultation with CSAG members, the CSAG may form groups with the defined task of examining certain issues and developing proposals. Previously, such subjects have included strategic planning (eg, by the Strategic Planning Advisory Group - SPAG), sector-specific issues (by the CSAG Sector-Specific Task Group), and implementation of the Process Approach by the Technical Committee (Process Facilitators Group. |
